Classy knock by Saim Ayub completed his fifty in just 33 balls. PSL fans were treated to a classy kick from Saim Ayub, an emerging player for Peshawar Zalmi, that brought to mind Pakistani legend Saeed Anwar.
Saim came into the game after the experienced Ihsanullah bowled Babar Azam out on the first ball of his innings and hit the pacer for a magnificent boundary.
Ihsanullah‘s short delivery was too much for the left-hander, so he hit it for a six-over fine leg in the same over.
Saim started the next over against Carlos Brathwaite with a no-look six over fine leg because he was not ready to stop. The 20-year-old was particularly fond of Abbas Afridi, who hit the pacer for a six and a boundary to score his first PSL fifty in just 33 balls.
Usama Mir castled Saim’s stumps, resulting in his dismissal for 53.

Social media users were quick to draw comparisons between Saim’s and Anwar’s batting styles. Saeed Anwar and Saim Ayub, Pakistan’s bright future prospect, are a pure talent mix.
