When the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League begins on Monday, February 13 at the picturesque Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan Sultans face Lahore Qalandars in other words Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans will meet in the opening match and 1st match of psl 8. Three women’s “festival games” have also been scheduled in Rawalpindi on March 8, 10, and 11 at midway through the PSL.
HBL PSL 8 Opening Ceremony 2023 Schedule Venue & Live Streaming, will be held at The International Cricket Stadium Multan scheduled to begin at 600 p.m. to 800 p.m. on Monday.

These “festival games” will feature both domestic and international players. This will be a way for the PCB to test the waters before launching a full-fledged women’s T20 league in the future. At a press conference held here on Friday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Chairman Najam Aziz Sethi revealed the PSL 8 schedule. I am pleased to officially confirm the PSL 8 schedule, which will enable the Pakistan Cricket Board and the six franchises to begin establishing and completing their respective event plans and goals. The PSL 8, which will take place at four iconic venues and feature the best T20 cricketers in the world, will be a significant event for the PCB.

The PSL schedule was established in December, before Sethi took over as PCB president, and the new PCB management has made no significant changes to it.
The schedule was created so that each of the four teams—Qalandars, Sultans, Karachi Kings, and Islamabad United—can play five games in front of their fans, including one match against each of the other teams. Due to their inability to accommodate high-profile matches, Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi will not play any home games; however, preparations are being made to have them ready by PSL 2024. Sethi had previously stated that Quetta would be included for the first time on the list of venues; however, the city was not included on the fixtures list that was released on Friday. Sethi stated that the PCB’s plans had been altered due to “logistical concerns.”
IN PSL 8 Multan Sultans face Lahore Qalandars in the opening Match this means that the Qalandars will play five games at the Gaddafi Stadium, one in Multan, two each in Karachi and Rawalpindi, and one in Multan. The Sultans will also play three of their five away games in Rawalpindi, one each in Karachi and Lahore; There will be three away games for the Kings, with one each in Lahore and Multan; Additionally, three of United’s five away games will be played in Karachi, with one each in Lahore and Multan. The Gladiators will play their 10 league games in Karachi, Rawalpindi (four each), Lahore, and Multan (one each).Zalmi will participate in Rawalpindi (5 times), Karachi (3 times), Lahore and Multan once each.

Each of the six teams will enter the PSL 8 tournament. Qalandars will try to become the first team to win back-to-back titles, United will try to become the most successful team with three titles, and the remaining four teams will once again try to win silverware. This makes up for a 34-match tournament that is thrilling, exciting, and entertaining. I have high hopes that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will once more live up to its expectations and uncover and identify future stars who will not only compete against the well-known competitors in this edition but will also go on to represent Pakistan. I would like to express my gratitude to Habib Bank Limited, which has remained the title sponsor of this tournament ever since it began in 2016. Additionally, Sethi added, “I would like to thank all of our other valued commercial partners, broadcasters, and franchise owners for their patronage. I hope they will continue to show faith in our premier event and the PCB’s administrative vision, skills, and capabilities so that we can work together to improve Pakistan cricket’s image and profile.”
