Multan Sultans won By 56 Runs In PSL 8 Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi. After Rilee Rossouw and Mohammed Rizwan’s impressive performances, the Multan Sultans bowlers bowled exceptionally well, bowling out the Multan Sultans for 154 runs and winning the match by 56 runs. Multan Sultans have won two of their three matches, while Peshawar Zalmi have lost one of their two matches in PSL 8.

Zalmi got off to a good start, scoring 41 runs in four overs between openers Mohammad Haris and Babar Azam, chasing a massive 211 runs to win. Ishanullah, on the other hand, dispatched Babar, who scored just 9 runs off 8 balls. Haris then hit four and four sixes for 40 runs off 23 pitches.

Saim Ayub, a left-handed pitcher, also showed promise by scoring the most runs for his team with 53 runs off 37 pitches, including 3 fours and 3 sixes. The remainder of the batting order, however, was unable to perform. James Neesham scored 12 runs and Rovman Powell scored 23 runs, but no other middle or lower-order batter reached double digits.

With three wickets each in 3.5 and 4 overs, respectively, pacer Ihsanullah and Usama Mir were the best bowlers for the Multan Sultans, allowing 24 and 22 runs to be scored. Carlos Brathwaite took one wicket and Abbas Afridi took two as Peshawar were bowled out for 154 runs in 18.5 overs.

In the fifth match of the Pakistan Super League 2023, Multan Sultans defeated Peshawar Zalmi by a massive 210/3 score in the first innings led by Rilee Rossouw and Mohammad Rizwan, respectively. Rizwan managed 66 runs while Rossouw scored 75 runs.

After openers Shan Masood and Rizwan added 54 runs for the first wicket in 7.2 overs, Multan got off to a good start. Masood was out for 20 runs in 25 balls when Salman Irshad took the first wicket in the eighth over.

In the middle, Rizwan and Rilee Rossouw contributed 62 runs for the third wicket in 35 balls. Rossouw continued to smack on the other end after Rizwan was run out for 66 runs in 42 balls. For the fourth wicket, Rossouw and David Miller put together a partnership of 75 runs in 35 balls, with Miller contributing 51 runs in 23 balls.

Rossouw hit 12 fours and 2 sixes for 75 runs in 36 balls. Salman Irshad took two wickets for Peshawar Zalmi, while Sufiyan Muqeem took one.

Prior to the fifth match of the Pakistan Super League 2023, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam chose to bowl first against Multan Sultans after winning the toss. The Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan, is where this match will take place.
