Having played for Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars in the past, this will be Hafeez’s third franchise in the league.
Hafeez will replace the injured Ahsan Ali on the Gladiator team.
The right-hander has played 367 T20 games in his career, while also scoring 7,811 executions with the help of 243 fifties.
The off-spinner also made 202 catches with an impressive save rate of 6.42. It should be noted that the PSL 8 opening ceremony will be held in Multan today (Monday) before the opening of the tournament between the champions Multan Sultans 2021 and the defending champions Lahore Qalandars; Meanwhile, the closing ceremony and final will take place on March 19 in Lahore, which will also host the playoffs.
The winner will not only win the Supernova Trophy, but will also receive a check for Rs 120 million, while the runner-up will receive a check for Rs 48 million.

Afternoon matches will begin at 2:00pm local time, while evening matches in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi will begin at 7:00pm. Evening matches in Multan will start at 6pm with the exception of the tournament opening match which will start at 8pm.
